Quality of life following head and neck cancer treatment is very important to us and we are constantly researching (often by means of questionnaires) to refine the treatment we provide in different circumstances to improve the quality of life of our patients.
University of Washington HRQOL Questionnaire
The University of Washington HRQOL Questionnaire is one of the most often used questionnaires and has been used extensively in our unit. It has undergone extensive research and development.
Version 4 of the University of Washington HRQOL Questionnaire includes mood and anxiety domains.
Liverpool Oral Rehabilitation Questionnaire
The Liverpool Oral Rehabilitation Questionnaire has been developed and piloted in this unit and is the subject of ongoing research into the benefits of oral rehabilitation for patients following treatment for oral cancer.
Liverpool PEG Questionnaire
The Liverpool PEG Questionnaire has been piloted in the Unit to look at patient's issues with PEG feeding.
